Welcome to the Polk County USA Pool League & BCA Pool League
Thanks for checking out Polk County's Newest Pool Leagues, the Polk County USA Pool League and the Polk County BCA Pool League!! Both the USA Pool League and the BCA Pool League use Fargo Rate to handicapp all their matches so if you are looking to establish a Fargo Rating these are the only two leagues in Polk County that offer you the ability to get and maintain a Fargo Rating. All teams in the USA Pool League compete to win a trip to play in the USA Pool League National Championships in February in Las Vegas every year. The USA Pool League National Championships feature 8 Ball, 9 Ball, and 10 Ball divisions where you can play as a team or as an individual. For players or teams wishing to play in the Polk County BCA Pool League we offer a Tueday night 8 Ball Money League. The BCA Money league is a format where we pay for no teams to go to the BCA Pool League National Championships, no trophies, and no patches and instead take all that money and pay it out to all the teams at the end of each session as cash prizes. The Polk County USA Pool League features 8 Ball or 9 Ball divisions four nights a week starting 7pm (See Schedule Below). The leagues are hosted by Brewlands Bar and Billiards at both of their Great Locations in Lakeland, Florida! To play in the league you do not have to be good, you just have to want to have fun. All the leagues use the Fargo Rate system for handicapping matches. This makes the matches "Fair and Fun For Everyone" no matter if you are playing a player that is more skilled or less skilled than yourself. The league is always looking for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players from all over Polk County. There are no sign up fees to join the league and you only pay a nightly league fee if you play in a match that night ($10). For those players that don't play in a match, you can enjoy free pool on the practice tables and Happy Hour prices on drinks all night!

For those players or teams that are not really looking to travel to play in a National Championship we offer our Tuesday Night BCA Pool League 8 Ball division. To join the Polk County BCA Pool League all players have to pay an annual registration fee of $20 once a year and additional you pay $10 on the nights you play. This division is different than most BCA Pool Leagues because the format is 4 players from one team play four players on the other team during 4 rounds of play. During each round the players play two games against theeir oppents so instead of playing 5 games a night you actually play 8 games a night. By doing this it helps our players increase their rubustness much faster. (Robustness in Fargo Rate means number of games played, not matches played). In this league all teams get paid money at the end of each session. The amount of prize money per a team varies based on the number of the teams in the division. This division uses team handicapps to help make it where teams of lower skill levels can compete with teams of higher skill levels so if you are looking for a BCA Pool League where handicapps are not used then this may not be the league for you. I will say this though, at the end of each session this division has had many close races to determine who got the big money at the end!
